Incorrect birth date

CPF support for foreigners
We help foreigners correct personal data and navigate CPF status problems with clear, practical support from abroad.
A small inconsistency can become a major obstacle when you need to manage banking, property, investments, or documents in Brazil.
Day/month and month/day formats are easily confused between Brazil and the United States.
Your CPF information may no longer match your current civil documents after marriage, divorce, or another legal change.
We review records shown as regular, pending regularization, suspended, cancelled, deceased holder, or null and explain the appropriate next steps.
When you do not know which Brazilian authority, form, or document applies, we help organize the path forward.
Guided case review
Tell us who you are, what happened to your existing CPF, and how to contact you. Your answers are organized for the next stage of the service.
Step 1 of 7
Choose the option that best describes why you need help. Fix My CPF does not issue a first-time CPF.
Step 2 of 7
Enter the details Fix My CPF will use to identify your intake and contact you. Do not enter your CPF or passport number on this preview page.
Step 3 of 7
Before starting, use Receita Federal’s public “Proof of CPF Registration Status” page to verify the record. If you cannot find or do not know the CPF number, recover it first.
The registration form generated online, including its service code, printed and signed by hand.
Passport, identity card, driver’s license, or work card. For a wrong birth date, it must prove the correct date.
A utility bill, phone bill, or council tax document.
The applicant’s birth certificate is always required.
A selfie of the applicant holding their open ID document near their face.
Marriage certificate and, when applicable, the divorce decree showing the name change.
Include the request to reactivate the cancelled CPF with the supporting documents.
Required when acting in an inheritance matter for a deceased CPF holder.
Required when the applicant is under 16.
The parent must hold their own open ID document near their face—not the child’s ID.
Required whenever an attorney-in-fact acts for the applicant.
File rules: attach PDF or JPEG files only. Do not send other file formats or cloud-storage links.
FCPF guidance for non-Brazilians: leave “voter ID” blank because foreigners do not have one. If you have never lived in Brazil, mark “date of departure from Brazil” as not applicable.
Step 4 of 7
Receita Federal can reject a request when a name does not match the supporting documents exactly. Compare every letter before continuing—we never change a name silently.
Initials such as “M.” and shortened names are mismatches.
Missing or extra surnames must be reviewed.
A wrong or missing accent is a mismatch.
If the ID and civil record use different names, provide the marriage certificate showing the change.
Step 5 of 7
Check your information before continuing to payment.
Step 6 of 7
Payment is required before Fix My CPF reviews your documents. For this promotional launch, payment is available via Zelle only.
What your $300 includes: our team prepares your FCPF protocol, reviews every document with you, and submits your case directly to Receita Federal — following the official process. You only print the protocol, sign it by hand, and return everything via WhatsApp.

Step 7 of 7
Thank you! Your payment was registered. Our team will contact you shortly on WhatsApp and guide you through every step. Each case is personally reviewed — nothing moves forward until we verify your payment and documents.
Experience behind the service
“Foreigners needed a practical way to understand and resolve CPF problems without getting lost in Brazilian bureaucracy.”
Fix My CPF was founded by Ana Prado Contti to serve foreigners whose CPF contains incorrect information, reflects an outdated civil status, or presents another status problem.
Before you contact us
Yes. The service is designed for foreigners anywhere in the world. The process is remote, follows Receita Federal’s official channel for residents abroad, and does not require a consulate visit.
Our team will contact you on WhatsApp at +1 (305) 848-3558 and send your FCPF protocol there. Print it and sign it by hand — just like a passport application — then reply on WhatsApp with legible copies of the signed protocol, your photo ID, a selfie holding your open ID near your face, proof of address abroad, and your payment receipt. We review everything and submit your case to Receita Federal following the official process. The CPF is usually processed within 10 business days; delays can happen and are outside our control.
The Brazilian parent must sign the FCPF. The submission must also include the Brazilian parent’s ID document and a selfie of the parent holding their own open ID near their face—not the minor’s ID.
No. Send it directly to Receita Federal at cpf.residente.exterior@rfb.gov.br. Consulates do not process these requests, except for corrections of CPFs they issued within the previous 90 days.
Receita Federal usually processes the CPF within 10 business days. Delays can happen — processing times are set by the Brazilian authority and are outside our control.
No. Fix My CPF is an independent private service and is not affiliated with the Brazilian government.
